Pallet trucks are useful in many settings, including in warehouses, grocery stores, and other businesses. They’re made to move pallets of items, whether you’re unloading a truck or moving stock to the shelves. Our team at KMC Forklift can help you find the right pallet truck for your workflow! Manual Pallet Trucks

Manual pallet trucks use a manual hydraulic system to raise and lower the forks. The operator pumps the handle up and down and uses an air release component to release the jacks when it’s time to lower them back down to the ground. These models do require you to manually move them as needed.

Electric Pallet Trucks

Electric pallet trucks are operated with an electrical system that controls the lifting, lowering, and movement of the trucks. This makes them easier to operate, but does require slightly more attention to maintenance. These models still have a handle that the operator must pull, but the controls do assist with the forward and backward movement.

Ride-On Pallet Truck

Another type of pallet truck is one where the operator stands on the machine to control its movements. This is advantageous because the operator does not have to pull the machine, but instead rides on it and uses the controls to move the truck. These models are best used in large warehouse settings.
